Options and Pricing

Because I consider each one of these pictures a gift back to God, I take great pride in their presentation. That is why I offer the matting and framing options listed below. I do sell prints alone, but the artist in me truly enjoys being able to create an entire piece, from the picture itself, to a presentation that will best compliment the picture. Below is an explanation of the options I offer and the difference between the “Grades” of presentation. I should also note that every order is a “special order” item, meaning that I do not keep any of the pictures and only a limited supply of frames and mat-board in stock. Turn-around times will vary based on the complexity of the order (see below for details).

Print Only

Pick a picture and pick a print size. You will receive an original, signed photographic print of the selected picture at the selected size without any form of presentation. This option is best suited for those people who want to complete the presentation of the photograph (i.e. matting and framing) to meet their own tastes. Prints up to 12x18 in size will be ready within two weeks, larger prints may take up to four weeks to prepare.

Matted Print

Pick a picture and pick a print size. You will receive an original, signed photographic print of the selected picture at the selected size. The print will be mounted with archival adhesive to an acid-free foam board backing and surrounded by an archival mat-board. The mat will be sized to fit the appropriate standard frame size one step larger than the print (see sizing and pricing chart for details). Unless otherwise specified, I will choose a neutral mat color that compliments the picture while still being flexible to a variety of frame styles. You may, of course, request a custom mat color (see notes on custom orders below). This option is best suited for those people who would like to display the print unframed, or would like to frame the print on their own, but do not have the tools or materials to mat or mount the photograph themselves. Prints up to 12x18 in size will be ready within three weeks, larger prints may take up to five weeks to prepare.

Grade I

Same as the matted print option, except that I will display the matted print in a standard black metal frame with clear frame glass. This option is perfect for the budget-minded buyer who wants a ready-to-display picture at the lowest cost. Prints up to 12x18 in size will be ready within three weeks, larger prints may take up to five weeks to prepare.

Grade II

Same as the matted print option, except that I will display the matted print in a pre-made wood frame with either clear glass or clear acrylic (depending on size and manufacturer of the frame) glazing. The frame color will be a neutral tone (usually black, but occasionally I can find other neutral colors that are better suited to the print being displayed). This option presents a nicer display of the picture at only a small increase in cost over the Grade I framing option. Prints up to 12x18 in size will be ready within three weeks, larger prints may take up to five weeks to prepare.

Grade III

The Grade III framing option is the ultimate in artistic and archival photographic display. You will receive an original, signed photographic print mounted with archival adhesive to an acid-free foam board backing and surrounded by an archival mat-board. This matted picture will be displayed in a custom wood frame with non-glare glass or acrylic glazing. The frame will be sealed with an acid-free dust cover backing. Because every aspect of this presentation is hand-assembled, I can more easily (a) prepare a presentation (i.e. frame style and mat color) that best compliments the picture, and/or (b) prepare a presentation to coordinate with the area in which the picture will be displayed. If you place a Grade III order, I will do my best to communicate with you such that you receive a piece of artwork that is truly personalized to your style. I have access to over 170 different mat colors and over 200 frame styles. If you do not have a preference I will choose a mat and frame-style that best compliments the picture, while being flexible to display in a variety of venues. Prints up to 12x18 in size will be ready within five weeks, larger prints may take up to six weeks to prepare.

Custom Orders

I would love to create a custom piece of artwork for you! I can add Bible verses or quotations into the display and cut a variety of different mat openings for both the picture and the words. If you have something unique in mind please contact me and I will work with you to put together a piece of artwork that reflects your special interests or tastes, or to create a truly unique gift for friends or family. The pricing and turn-around time for all custom orders will vary based on each unique order, but once we have worked out exactly what you are looking for, I will quote you a price and a time-frame before you commit to the purchase.
