Gladiolus (70-31)
I stepped outside one humid summer morning and noticed that the gladiolus out front was leaning forward, and the backside of it was covered in early morning dew. Normally we look at a flower for the beauty in the actual bloom, but it occurred to me at the time how intricate and geometrically balanced the stalk of a gladiolus is, with the flowers bursting out of their green shells in a staggered formation. The tiny drops of dew added a nice finishing touch to this amazing work of art. God's creativity never ceases to amaze me if I let myself stop and look for it. |
