One in a Million (27-20)
This Kousa Dogwood tree was in the backyard of my grandparent's house in New York. I was visiting one summer and noticed that one of the fruits had ripened (turned red) much earlier than any of the others on the tree. The contrast of color caught my eye as I was walking by, and of course I had to take a picture. I had some trouble with composing this one in the best way to represent the uniqueness of the red fruit among the green fruits. As sometimes happens in photography, the picture didn't turn out exactly the way I had hoped, but I still found it interesting. This picture reminds me that regardless of my skills, the work of God's hand is still amazing. |
